Before I started my first blog I would get frustrated at how much people spoke about “Niching down” and I hated it. But after spending so long helping people develop their blogs from scratch I’ve learned a lot. I know we’re all humans with a hundred different interests, and it might feel limiting to niche down—but in the beginning, you absolutely need to. A focused niche helps you build authority, attract the right audience, and grow faster. That doesn’t mean you’re stuck with just one topic forever! You can always expand or even start multiple blogs—we do! But starting with a clear, specific niche will set you up for success and make it easier to stand out in a crowded space.
